This was a really short but interesting book. It was basically an intro of four stories. Four stories about four teenagers who live in Silverwood, a city that has known urban legends about a silver mineral running under their town. These teens suddenly realize that they evolve special abilities that cannot be explained. 

I enjoyed this read, but I wish it wasn't just an intro of these characters. I wish it had a little more juice in each story or at least a last chapter, where all of them meet each other or something alike. I am impatient to read the rest of the series, because my curiosity has been officially piqued.
